Solid vs Perforated Film

A solid film wraps the load in an airtight plastic skin. For dry, stable goods that is fine. For anything warm, fresh, frozen or hot-filled it is the source of the problem.

Sealed film traps heat and water vapour against the product. That vapour condenses into water — and water is what rusts crowns, lifts labels, grows mould and slows freezing.

Perforated film with controlled engineered perforations lets that vapour and warm air escape while keeping contaminants and pests out. The load breathes; the damage stops.
