Supersonic

Reinforced “Tiger” stretch film — more containment from less film, engineered for unstable and heavy loads.

The pain

Heavy, unstable pallets shift, lean and collapse in transit. The usual fix is wrapping more, thicker film around every load — burning material and money.

Root cause

Containment comes from structure, not thickness. A thick but un-reinforced film still stretches and yields under load; forklift tines puncture it and the wrap unzips.

The Toreto fix

Supersonic builds reinforcement into the film so a lighter gauge behaves like a far heavier one — holding the load with significantly less material.

What it does for your operation

  • Reinforcement engineered in for directional rigidity
  • Equal or better containment from less film
  • Survives forklift-tine puncture without the load unzipping
  • Typically cuts film per pallet — e.g. 100m → 60m
  • Stops pallet collapse, leaning and double-stack failure
Applying the film

How to wrap with it

Because the reinforcing is built into these films, they need far fewer revolutions than ordinary wrap — plain or perforated, hand-applied or machine. Apply the inside face of the film to the goods: it has the better adhesion.

  1. Two revolutions at the base

Secure the load to the pallet before anything else.

  2. Spiral up with 20–30 mm overlap

One pass. The reinforcing carries the containment that extra revolutions would otherwise have to provide.

  3. Two revolutions at the top

Close the load off at the top layer.

  4. Tension to secure, not to crush

Enough tension to fully secure the load — over-tensioning can crush what is inside it.

  5. Heavy or unstable? Spiral back down

The criss-cross this creates gives extra stability on heavy or slippery loads.

  6. Finish with a clean cut

Cut or tear the film cleanly. There is enough tack to swipe the tail down by hand and have it hold.
